All these years down the line, we're still here making folk laugh once a month on a Thursday. The tiny room behind the Lescar has seen the biggest acts in the country from time to time, like Peter Kay, Jimmy Carr, Dara O Briain, Johnny Vegas and Al Murray. Come on down, get hot and sweaty with us, you may just be seeing a star of the future.
Top comedians, a packed crowd, and one of Sheffield’s best pubs. Don’t miss it.
Sheffield’s legendary Thursday night comedy returns with another blazing night on June 11th
Back on September 10th:
The Last Laugh Comedy Club at The Lescar
The Last Laugh is back at The Lescar with Tom Douglas returning to host another proper night of live comedy.
Joining him is Dave Longley, a brilliantly inventive and uncompromising comic whose sharp writing and gloriously twisted take on life have made him a favourite with comedy audiences around the country.
Also on the bill is Peter Brush, one of the circuit’s most original acts. Dry, clever and beautifully understated, Peter has a knack for taking an ordinary thought somewhere you really weren’t expecting.
Plus two guest spots, giving you the chance to catch some of the best new and emerging acts on the circuit.

Five acts, one of Sheffield’s great comedy rooms and another cracking night at The Lescar.
"Sheffield is home to one of the best comedy clubs in the country, The Last Laugh, a famously sweaty gig in the back room of The Lescar pub. You'd do a forty minute set, and come off drenched and have to change in the kitchen as the punters wandered past the door. For some reason I can still see the giant tubs of margarine , as I tried to look casual while conducting a post-mortem, shirtless and glistening, with the show host Toby Foster"
