All these years down the line, we're still here making folk laugh once a month on a Thursday. The tiny room behind the Lescar has seen the biggest acts in the country from time to time, like Peter Kay, Jimmy Carr, Dara O Briain, Johnny Vegas and Al Murray. Come on down, get hot and sweaty with us, you may just be seeing a star of the future.
Top comedians, a packed crowd, and one of Sheffield’s best pubs. Don’t miss it.
Sheffield’s legendary Thursday night comedy returns with another blazing night on June 11th
The Little Last Laugh returns to The Lescar for another cracking night of live stand up comedy.
Holding the whole thing together is the brilliant Big Shaun as MC, one of the funniest and most naturally likeable comperes on the circuit. Warm, quick and properly funny, he is the perfect host for a packed room above one of Sheffield’s best pubs.
Joining him is Ricky Balshaw. Ricky has become one of the most talked about acts in British comedy, mixing sharp crowd work, brilliant storytelling and a huge amount of charm. You may know him from Britain’s Got Talent, the Paralympics or his TV appearances, but live on stage is where he really comes alive.
Also on the bill is Matt Price, a superb comedian and storyteller whose tales of life, family and growing up have made him a favourite at clubs all over the country. Honest, funny and brilliantly delivered.
Plus guest acts.
The Little Last Laugh at The Lescar has built a reputation as one of the best club nights in the city. Proper comedy fans, great atmosphere, good beer and top quality acts, all in an intimate room where every laugh counts.
Get your tickets early. These nights regularly sell out.
"Sheffield is home to one of the best comedy clubs in the country, The Last Laugh, a famously sweaty gig in the back room of The Lescar pub. You'd do a forty minute set, and come off drenched and have to change in the kitchen as the punters wandered past the door. For some reason I can still see the giant tubs of margarine , as I tried to look casual while conducting a post-mortem, shirtless and glistening, with the show host Toby Foster"
